This course will introduce students to the essentials of interdisciplinary research. The course emphasizes the problem-centered nature of interdisciplinary studies; the history and development of interdisciplinary research practices; interdisciplinary approaches to research design; community-based and arts-based interdisciplinary research models; and effective evaluation techniques you can apply to interdisciplinary research projects, with an emphasis on preparing you for INTR5001 (Interdisciplinary Studies Capstone).
